Best for: plenary halls, rooms above ~80 seats, anything with a tech booth. Works with OBS, vMix, Wirecast, and every hardware encoder that speaks RTMP.
Set a phone in the room.
Open Chuchotage on a spare phone, tap Start broadcasting, place it on the lectern or in the front row. The phone's microphone is the source. Any modern iPhone or Android works.
Best for: breakouts, panels, training days, board meetings, community events, and venues without dedicated audio staff. Keep the phone plugged in and within a couple of metres of the speaker.

Before you commit a live event, upload a keynote from a past conference and play it through Chuchotage. Listen back in every language your audience would have heard. No card on file. If it isn't good enough for your room, you'll know in an hour.
Wi-fi the room, headphones in pockets.
Each attendee needs phone + wi-fi + headphones. Share the venue wi-fi password at the top of the day, and remind people to bring earbuds (a line in the joining instructions is enough). 5G works as a backup, but international guests on roaming struggle. Venue wi-fi is the reliable path.
Where AI translation doesn't fit.
Chuchotage is fast AI translation, not court reporting. Use it for talks, panels, lectures, training, and gatherings where the audience gains from access. Don't use it for binding contracts, sworn testimony, or proceedings where exact wording is legally consequential. That's still the interpreter's chair.
